Community Service Learning Track

Community Service Learning (CSL) Track Requirements:

  1. Student will propose a CSL project and apply for a CSL mini-grant (up to $500) to fund an initial community needs assessment.
  2. After community needs-assessment is completed, student will then propose a community intervention and apply for a CSL midi-grant (up to $4,000).
  3. After the intervention is conducted, student must demonstrate and implement plans for program sustainability, as well as ongoing evaluation. Student will also work with mentor to develop plans for submitting a larger proposal to a non-CSL funding source for future growth.
  4. Capstone Report: To include results and analysis of any data collected, or a measurable, objective evaluation of the project from community input.
