Seeking Submissions

UTHSCSA's literature and visual arts journa seeks submissions for the 2011 issue. Share your voice, and join us in cultivating the arts at the Health Science Center.

• Submissions are welcome from students, faculty and staff
• Categories include written work (prose, essays, interviews, memoirs, narratives, short stories, poetry) visual art (painting, drawing, sculpture) and photography
• Work must be your own and not previously published
• Your piece does not need to be health-related, but can be
• Visual art should be submitted for primary review in digital format
• Written work must be fewer than 2,000 words
• Multiple submissions welcome - limit three submissions per category per person

Submissions/questions should be sent to connectivetissue@uthscsa.edu by 11:59 PM, Monday, February 1, 2011. Please include your name and category in the subject line. A volunteer editorial committee will make selections for publication for each category and the committee's decision will be final. Edits on accepted pieces will not be allowed after March 1, 2011.
